2015-11金石海外投资考察小组再赴西班牙考察 海外扩张战略提速

继今年9月金石海外成功交割西班牙巴塞罗集团旗下圣地亚哥酒店后,为了探寻新的欧洲投资机会,拓宽欧洲市场的资源和渠道,11月9日-19日,金石海外执行总裁卢真、金石海外项目经理金琳、胡天南一行组成西班牙考察小组,前往意大利和西班牙各大城市,考察海外酒店项目。

十天考察之行 达成多个投资意向

   在为期十天的考察之行中,考察小组先后前往意大利罗马和米兰、西班牙巴塞罗那和马德里,考察了位于商业中心的23个城市酒店,就项目当地的经济、客源市场、竞争对手、消费习惯、产品设计、配套项目有等进行了考察和研讨,并形成了规划布局方案初稿。

同时,考察小组与知名国际第三方服务机构及欧洲境内大型银行高层进行了会晤,携手大力推进在欧洲投资的版图。

据悉,本次西班牙考察共达成了5个高端城市酒店的投资意向,与业主方开展了切实的联系和讨论。这为金石海外在海外投资的领域开展了新的战略拓展,为金石海外在海外投资分布的广泛性、多样性及专业性打下了坚实的基础。

2014-07Accelerated Overseas Expansion Pace - Kingstory Delegation Revisits Spain

After spending 66 million dollars in purchasing San Diego Hotel, a branch of Barcelo Group in Spain by entering into a contract in February this year, in order to seek new investment opportunity in Europe and broaden resources and channels of  European market, during July 1 to July 10, Zhen Zhen, the assistant of Group Chairman and manager of the overseas investment department Lu Zhen, the assistant manager of the overseas investment department and Hu Tiannan, the project assistant of the overseas investment department, form a Delegation to head for big cities in Spain to investigate overseas hotels.

Ten-day visit makes multiple investment intentions be reached

During the ten-day visit, the delegation went to big cities such as Barcelona and Madrid, visiting 12 urban hotels located in commercial centers. In addition, the delegation investigated and discussed local economy, tourist source market, competitors, consumption habit, product design, supporting projects, etc., with the first draft of the planning layout scheme completed.

Besides, the Delegation held an official talk with the well-known International Third Party Service Agency and Multinational Bank to cooperate with them for boosting investment plan in Europe. It is learned that during this visit in Spain, investment intentions in three high-ranking urban hotels have been reached, and the delegation have practically contacted and discussed with owners, which not only provides new strategic development for Kangde Group in the field of overseas investment but also lays a solid foundation for extensiveness of allocation, diversity and professionalization of the overseas investment of Kangde Group.

Kingstory enjoys popular support with its 17-year real estate development. At the beginning of 2014, the Group has initiated its firm implementation of the overseas expansion strategy of “being based in Chongqing, developing domestic market and expanding overseas”. On February 18, the Group spent USD 66.00 million purchasing the Santiago Hotel subordinated to the Spanish Barceló Group and achieved the first goal of the merger and acquisition strategy for overseas qualified hotels. As one of the global 25 grand hotel groups, Barceló Group has been the first strategic partner of Kingstory, who will assist the Group in making overseas investment and absorbing international advanced hotel management concepts.

Wins the First Battle of Overseas Expansion by Joining Hands with Barceló Group


After a 2-year investigation and exploration, the President and relevant leaders of Kingstory officially signed the Sales Contract of purchasing the Santiago Hotel subordinated to the Spanish Barceló Group with their counterparts of Barceló Group in Chongqing Trading Building on February 18, which marked that Kangde Group won the first battle of overseas expansion by joining hands with Barceló Group.

 As early as the beginning of 2012, Kingstory has put forward that RMB 1.00 billion would be invested in merging and purchasing overseas qualified hotels within 3-5 years in the future. After contacting with many international famous hotel management groups, the Group finally selected the Spanish Barceló Group based on the strategic plan which took ultrahigh-level hotel management concepts as the key points of the cooperation.
  The Barceló Group known for the accumulating and restrained temperament is one of the 25 grand hotel groups. The purchased Santiago Hotel is located on the Tenerife Island which is among the top five in the ranking of the most beautiful islands in Europe. The climate of the Island is warm and pleasant and the annual tourist reception reaches 5 million person-time.

On the signing ceremony, Xu Qiang, Director of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission, spoke highly of the overseas expansion strategy of Kingstory. He said that cooperating with international famous hotel management groups and absorbing advanced hotel management concepts would exert significant influence on the development of the hotel industry management in Chongqing.

After the signing ceremony, relevant municipal leaders nicely met with Mr. Gonzalez, President of Barceló Group, and his entourage, and gave the high appraisal on the fact that the Group purchased the Santiago Hotel subordinated to the Spanish Barceló Group, and were optimistic about the brand-new cooperation model which improved the Chinese hotel management quality through introducing management concepts of international famous hotels.
